Having a window facing the east provided a natural morning light to seep in through the small opening that graced Bellwether's cell. Such dawn times had become a pleasure to the ewe, taking in the golden rays to hope for a better day, at least since the past week had started. Upon gazing out the slitted and barred window, Bellwether observed that dark clouds were starting to cover the rising sun, with the expectancy of rain to come. The ewe was disappointed at the good feeling not lasting long, but she managed to take what she could into her psyche as she prepared herself for the day.
