Zootopia: Doctor Predator, Chapter 4
Having a window facing the east provided a natural morning light to seep in through the small opening that graced Bellwether's cell. Such dawn times had become a pleasure to the ewe, taking in the golden rays to hope for a better day, at least since the past week had started. Upon gazing out the slitted and barred window, Bellwether observed that dark clouds were starting to cover the rising sun, with the expectancy of rain to come. The ewe was disappointed at the good feeling not lasting long, but she managed to take what she could into her psyche as she prepared herself for the day.
The guard beside her spoke no words or gave any acknowled

Bellwether went to bed early the previous night, so she could rise up to prepare her bed and tidy her cell. Those years of waking up early to arrive at Zootopia City Hall were provisional in experience so she wasn't a late sleeper. Pleased that the prison did not have a lights-out policy, she turned her cell light on and began to make her cot and examine her surroundings. A simple cot to one side, behind which was a toilet with a curtain for privacy, accompanied by a wash sink. To the other was a metal desk with few provisions, given that Bellwether had little to nothing to produce in her leisure time. She noticed, however, the document that

"I thought I understood you, Doctor," Warden Pigglestone said abruptly as Brushtail arrived through the security entrance. The fox quirked an eyebrow, his muzzle having a faint smile, "That's a rather strange way of saying 'Happy Wednesday, sir." Rubbing at the back of his neck to ease the morning fatigue, Brushtail continued past as Pigglestone continued, "I don't understand how Bellwether took to you so well."
The fox smirked, amused at the confusion of the situation. He was careful to never display any weakness from ignorance or intimidation that was commonplace among the stern-faced guards and the inmates who were less kind about his off

Warden Pigglestone pressed the entry button to grant access to the arrival. A loud buzzer gave the tall, well-suited individual a mildly annoyed look, wishing that all it took to know that the door could be opened was a simple click on the computerized lock. The irritation was brief, however, given his profession. He was not one to display extended feelings of being bothered, especially by mundane nuisances.
Giving a nod and a faint smile to the warden, Dr. Brushtail trotted past the pig to his personal office in the facility. A simple desk in one corner, with a comfortable sofa to allow visitors comfort. A bookshelf full of volumes related

“Why, Nick?” She asked in an exasperated voice as she parked their cruiser, silencing the rumbling growl of the V8 engine.
“Why what?” He replied in a feigned tone of innocence to match, though the ever-present smirk seemed a touch more smug than usual.
“Why do you insist on being a distraction rather than an asset on this case?” Her body language was rigid, the fluff of her paws left the massive black steering wheel in order to fulfill the classic “what the heck, Nick?” gesture. Resting the sides of her paws on the top of the steering

Twenty years ago, back when I was a kid, if you had told me how intimately involved I’d be with foxes, there’s a good chance I’d have snickered and shrugged it off. I was good at playing tough… When you’re a bunny, even playing tough can seem a laughable cause. But what choice did I have?
The seed of fear was planted deep within me, and all it took was the mark of three…
I still have those scars from Gideon Grey. Yes, my fur has grown, and it covers the marks, but they are there. When I touch the fur of my cheek, and brush my thumb down, there’s a flaw in th

Long gone would Nick Wilde be had this moment been a few days ago; out the glass doors of the hospital and vanishing into the night that lay just beyond. Being of a species that was prone to nocturnal activities, the night was something he usually craved but now… Now he found himself seeking the sun…
The case was closed. Finished. There was nothing left to do other than hang around and make sure Fluff was okay. Courtesies right? Then why was he so desperate to leave?
Desperate to leave, yet looking for, hoping for, – no, needing – a reason to stay…

He was quite the sight, pacing in the small, pastoral lobby, unable to pass the swinging doors that would permit him to visit the petite cottontail that was somewhere in the labyrinth of the Zootopia Hospital. The Vulpine patrolled with dedicated purpose, enough to rival his former ‘bane’ in conviction to her duty as a cop. Back and forth, wearing an expression so very against his usually roguish and charming, devil-may-care demeanor. His languid posture and signature paw-in-pocket had been done away with, and was instead replaced with his paws grasped behind his back, just above his tail, and his expression was one wrought with a
Love can be powerful, yet deceiving... but when taken seriously, and cherished in every possible way, it can truly become a magical feeling from not only your heart, but from the bottom of your soul.

The cyan-coated pegasus mare trotted around her large cloud house, desperately looking for someplace to sit down.
"Awe, where's a couch when you need one?" she mumbled underneath her breath. She quickly popped her head into the family room, just to lay her eyes on a baby-blue stallion, sprawled wide across the mass of a love-seat, reading a magazine. He instantly looked up upon seeing the newcomer.
"Oh, hey Dashie!" he exclaimed happily, n
